Genre doesn't matter to me because I can listen to pretty much anything. One of my favorites by Bob Marley is "Three Little Birds".

Re: Reach Out: It Could Mean A Job

Hi Austin. Carey School of Business and Sustainability

Hi Julia. This is a great post. I like how you engage your readers with questions. Just to express my opinion, I think the views on this issue will vary largely depending on the person. For example, the CEO of a company may strictly think "Why bother to care if I'm making a profit" whilst there those who would argue that by not engaging in sustainable behavior, companies can essentially lose a large part of their market. This brings me to a discussion that I had in my Marketing class. There is an idea, called Corporate Social Responsibility, which basically says that "socially responsible companies will out perform their peers by focusing on the world's social problems and viewing them as opportunities to build profits and help the world at the same time." I strongly feel that it is somewhat unethical for companies to not practice sustainability. That being said, in order to engage in sustainable practices companies would have to incur a higher costs, which may in the long run not provide the profits they need to stay in the market.

Again, this was a great post. I'm looking forward to reading your next one!

Re: Reach Out: It Could Mean A Job

Great post Austin. I've recently started to get into building professional relationships myself. I wanted to write a post to expand on what you wrote here. Would that be ok? I'll link to your post when I write mines.

Re: Use Gmail as Your Primary Email? You pretty much covered it all.

Just one quick thing you can also do is tag your emails as they come in. Doing so can help you filter by categories.

Re: Looking Around: Yet Again

Well said. I try to get in the Accounting program, but now I am still a BA student. I would like to ask what is the first thing you do when you get in the business school that is really signficant to you. I have been in a community college for two years, but I do not have any job experiences. Should I join organizations, or just apply for on-campus jobs or internership?

Thanks,

Caroline

Re: Meet the Bloggers

Hi Ali,

I just sent you an email with some additional information - feel free to respond to that with any other questions!

-Sara

Re: Meet the Bloggers

Hello,

I am a high school graduate from Nigeria and i am willing to begin my university education at ASU,please let know how i can start.

How much is the cost of study for an international student per year including:

Which exam i need to take?
Certificate required?
Accommodation?
Textbooks?
Feeding?
Student visa?
Student ID card?
and other necessities.

I look forward to reading from you.

Best Regards
Ali Habeeb.
